Choosing one
Every character card also carries the mode and difficulty selectors, so you set up the whole run from one place. Choosing a character does not launch the game immediately — it scrolls you down to the mode and difficulty options with the explanations alongside them, so you can keep browsing the cast and change your mind before committing.
What actually differs between them
- The mount or vehicle, which changes how the character moves and sits on the ground — a Humvee handles nothing like an airboat.
- Voice and personality in the spoken commentary during play.
- Appearance, including skins that can be bought in the store with earned coins.
What does not differ is the ruleset: every character nets birds, converts people with a Bible, and cannot harm a human being. There is no character who unlocks a lethal option, because none exists.
Skins and unlocks
Hunter skins are sold in the store for coins earned by playing. Store purchases are permanent — once bought, a skin or upgrade stays with you across every future run. Only consumables are used up.

Do the characters play differently?
They differ in their mount or vehicle, which changes handling, plus voice, commentary and appearance. The rules are identical for all of them.
Is any character harder to play as?
No character is locked to a difficulty tier. Difficulty is chosen separately, from the character card or the game-over screen.
Do I have to unlock characters?
The roster is available to choose from. Cosmetic skins are bought in the in-game store using coins earned by playing.
Are character purchases permanent?
