Why there is no app store version

Two reasons, and both benefit you. App stores take a cut, which would mean finding something to charge for — and everything here is free. And store review would push toward the retention mechanics we deliberately left out: the streaks, the notifications, the loot boxes. Installing from the browser keeps the game free of all of it.

It works offline

Once installed, the game caches itself and plays without a connection — on a plane, in the car, or anywhere the signal is poor. Progress is stored on the device and syncs back up when you are online again.

Nothing to pay, nothing to sign up for

No account, no email, no card. Every zone, character and upgrade is earned by playing. If a family enjoys it and wants to help keep it online, donations are welcome — but they are never required and they unlock nothing.

Common questions

Is there a Windows or Mac download?

There is no separate installer. Open the game in Chrome or Edge and use the install icon in the address bar — it installs as a desktop app with its own icon and window.

Is there an Android or iPhone app?

Not in the app stores. Open the game in your browser and use Add to Home Screen (iPhone) or Install app (Android). It behaves the same as a store app afterwards.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once installed it caches itself and plays without a connection. Progress saves on the device.

Does installing cost anything or require an account?

No to both. There is no account, no email and nothing for sale anywhere on the site.
